You know what struck me most about Ya Nui Beach Villas? It’s how they managed to create this perfect bubble of tranquility without feeling completely cut off from everything. I mean, Ya Nui Beach itself is already one of Phuket’s best-kept secrets – this tiny crescent of sand tucked between rocky headlands that most tourists never find because, honestly, the road down there is a bit of an adventure.

The villas sit right above this gorgeous little bay, and I’m talking about proper privacy here. Each villa feels like your own private retreat, which is exactly what you want from a four-star place like this. The infinity pools – and yes, most villas have their own – seem to blend right into the Andaman Sea horizon. It’s one of those views that actually makes you put your phone down, if you know what I mean. The design is modern but not cold, lots of natural materials and these floor-to-ceiling windows that basically erase the line between inside and out. I spent way too much time just lounging on the terrace watching the long-tail boats bob around the bay.

What really sets this place apart is the location on the southern tip of the island – you’re close enough to Rawai and Nai Harn that you can easily grab dinner at some fantastic local spots (the seafood market in Rawai is incredible, by the way), but far enough from the madness of Patong that you’ll actually hear waves instead of motorbikes at night. The staff here gets that balance too. They’re attentive without being hovering, and they know the area well enough to point you toward the good stuff. Like, they told me about this little hiking trail that connects to Windmill Viewpoint – not something you’d find in a typical hotel brochure, but absolutely worth the sweaty climb for those sunset photos. The beach access is what really sold me though. You literally walk down from your villa and you’re on one of Phuket’s most pristine stretches of sand. Ya Nui gets some day visitors, sure, but by late afternoon it’s basically yours. Perfect for those evening swims when the water’s still warm but the sun isn’t trying to roast you alive. Honestly, with a 9.3 rating, I expected it to be good, but this place exceeded even those high expectations – it’s the kind of spot that makes you start planning your next trip back before you’ve even left.

  the location is perfect, located in a quite natural area with everything you need only a short walk away.
  beautiful beaches, massage, good restaurants and supermarkets all with in easy walking distance from the villas.
  The staff are so friendly, the cleaners came to tidy up for us everyday and the security staff at night was always available to help with anything we asked.
  we will defiantly come back, except next time we will stay longer.
