I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Two Villas HOLIDAY – Oxygen Style Bang Tao Beach, Phuket, the name was a bit of a mouthful, but after spending time there, I get why they kept all those words. This four-star property really does feel like you’re staying in someone’s stylish private villas rather than a cookie-cutter hotel, and the “Oxygen Style” part makes sense once you see how green and airy everything feels.

The location in Bang Tao is actually pretty brilliant if you know Phuket well. You’re far enough from the Patong madness to sleep peacefully, but close enough to the good stuff that matters. I mean, Bang Tao Beach is right there – and it’s one of those stretches where you can actually spread out without bumping into someone’s beach chair every five minutes. The water’s cleaner here too, which you’ll notice immediately if you’ve been to some of the busier beaches down south. What I really appreciated was how the property feels tucked away without being isolated – there are some solid local restaurants within walking distance, and you know what, the staff actually knows which ones are worth your time versus the tourist traps.

The villa-style setup is where this place really shines. Each unit has this sort of relaxed, contemporary Thai vibe without trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect. The pools (there are multiple smaller ones rather than one massive one) create these nice little pockets of privacy, and honestly, during the shoulder seasons you might have one practically to yourself. The kitchenette situation is legit too – not just a mini-fridge and sad coffee maker, but actual space to prep meals if you want to hit the local markets. I spent a morning cooking tom kha with ingredients from the Bang Tao market, and it felt more authentic than any resort cooking class. The 8.7 rating this place pulls makes total sense when you factor in details like decent water pressure, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train, and housekeeping that doesn’t rearrange all your stuff into weird towel animals. Sometimes the simple things matter most when you’re trying to unwind.

  We chose this villa as we wanted somewhere to stay with our son and his girlfriend for a few days on the second part of our holiday in Thailand. We wanted a homely feel, as not seen them for a few months and wanted to spend time together rather than in separate hotel rooms. However, we did want private spaces and bathrooms so this villa looked ideal on the website.
  We arrived early, about 1:30 pm, and luckily our villa was ready so don’t have to wait until 3pm.
  The reception staff were so lovely and welcoming, and spoke very good English so was easy to communicate.
  Our particular villa didn’t have any sun loungers as the owners don’t have any. We were disappointed, as had specifically asked via what’s app the day before we arrived and was told there were sun loungers. This did seem odd as the pool and garden is lovely but I understand not all nationalities like to sunbath.
  There is a lovely shaded decking area with 2 chairs and 1 small table. Again, this doesn’t feel enough for a villa than can sleep 6 people.
  We didn’t intend to spend every day in the villa laid in the garden, but would have been nice to be able to have couple hours here and there all together or have a meal outside at a table.
  I asked the extremely lovely lady who checked us in and showed us the villa about possibly hiring some, and within 15 minutes we had 2 rattan beds delivered for us to use for the week at no cost. So thank you so much for sorting that out so quickly.
  The villa has 2 upstairs bedrooms which have their own bathroom, with huge walk in shower and sunken bath, and private balcony overlooking the pool. Ours had a large day bed, but again would have been nice to have couple chairs on each. The bedrooms were both huge and comfy beds with the most amazing pillows! Made it very difficult having to get up on a morning.
  Water and tea and coffee were restocked daily when the rooms were cleaned.
  The villas are throughly cleaned daily, which was lovely.

  Lovely villa, very private and great pool.
  I took the breakfast option. Nice touch was breakfast was available all day in the cafe.
  
  5 mins on the scooter to the beach, 7min to bang Tao center.

  Villa was well laid out and clean. The pool is a great size.
  The Origami cafe onsite was exceptional, great food.
