First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Two Villas HOLIDAY – Oxygen Style Bang Tao Beach, Phuket, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But this four-star property immediately caught my attention with its modern design and that relaxed Phuket vibe you’re hoping for. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth — not the rehearsed kind you sometimes get — and I could tell right away this place had something special going on.

Location & Getting Around

You know what’s great about staying in Bang Tao Beach? You’re close enough to the action but far enough from the chaos of Patong. The beach is literally a short walk away, and I mean the good part of Bang Tao where you can actually find a decent spot to relax. There’s parking right on site, which honestly saved me a headache since I rented a scooter to explore the island. The location gets high marks from other guests too — I can see why couples particularly love it here since it strikes that perfect balance between peaceful and accessible.

The Room Experience

My room was actually more spacious than I expected, with clean lines and that contemporary Thai style that doesn’t feel overdone. The air conditioning worked perfectly (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), and the bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the pillows all night. What I really liked was the attention to detail — little touches that showed someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.

Food & Relaxation

Breakfast here is surprisingly diverse — they’ve got everything from continental basics to proper Asian options, plus vegetarian and vegan choices that actually taste good. I mean, sometimes hotel breakfast can be hit or miss, but they clearly put effort into this. The real treat, though, is their massage services. After a day of exploring Phuket’s temples and beaches, getting a back massage right at the hotel was exactly what I needed. They also do neck and foot massages if that’s more your thing.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the fanciest place on the island, but it gets the fundamentals right. The location scores consistently high with guests because you’re positioned perfectly for both beach time and island exploration. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, and there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on comfort over flashy amenities. For couples especially, it offers that sweet spot of romance and practicality — you can have a quiet evening together but still easily get out and experience what Phuket has to offer. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually want to spend time at the hotel, not just crash between adventures.

  We chose this villa as we wanted somewhere to stay with our son and his girlfriend for a few days on the second part of our holiday in Thailand. We wanted a homely feel, as not seen them for a few months and wanted to spend time together rather than in separate hotel rooms. However, we did want private spaces and bathrooms so this villa looked ideal on the website.
  We arrived early, about 1:30 pm, and luckily our villa was ready so don’t have to wait until 3pm.
  The reception staff were so lovely and welcoming, and spoke very good English so was easy to communicate.
  Our particular villa didn’t have any sun loungers as the owners don’t have any. We were disappointed, as had specifically asked via what’s app the day before we arrived and was told there were sun loungers. This did seem odd as the pool and garden is lovely but I understand not all nationalities like to sunbath.
  There is a lovely shaded decking area with 2 chairs and 1 small table. Again, this doesn’t feel enough for a villa than can sleep 6 people.
  We didn’t intend to spend every day in the villa laid in the garden, but would have been nice to be able to have couple hours here and there all together or have a meal outside at a table.
  I asked the extremely lovely lady who checked us in and showed us the villa about possibly hiring some, and within 15 minutes we had 2 rattan beds delivered for us to use for the week at no cost. So thank you so much for sorting that out so quickly.
  The villa has 2 upstairs bedrooms which have their own bathroom, with huge walk in shower and sunken bath, and private balcony overlooking the pool. Ours had a large day bed, but again would have been nice to have couple chairs on each. The bedrooms were both huge and comfy beds with the most amazing pillows! Made it very difficult having to get up on a morning.
  Water and tea and coffee were restocked daily when the rooms were cleaned.
  The villas are throughly cleaned daily, which was lovely.

  Lovely villa, very private and great pool.
  I took the breakfast option. Nice touch was breakfast was available all day in the cafe.
