The bathrooms are nicely updated with good water pressure, though I’ll be honest, the lighting could be a bit better for putting on makeup in the morning.

I spent most evenings on my little balcony just watching the neighborhood come alive – there’s something really authentic about the rhythm of this area that you don’t get in the more touristy zones. The pool area gets busy around mid-afternoon, but if you’re an early riser like me, you can pretty much have it to yourself with your coffee and whatever book you’re pretending to read while actually people-watching. The whole place has this relaxed energy that makes you want to slow down a bit, which is exactly what I needed. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the WiFi can be a little spotty in some corners, but there’s something refreshingly honest about a place that focuses on getting the important stuff right rather than trying to dazzle you with bells and whistles. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a neighborhood gem than a tourist machine, this is definitely worth considering.
