Rawai’s a different vibe entirely, more of a working fishing village where you can grab incredibly fresh seafood and watch the longtail boats come in around sunset.

The villa itself feels like someone actually lives there, which I appreciate. The three bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not stepping on each other’s toes, and the pool – well, it’s not Olympic-sized, but it’s perfect for cooling off after a day of beach hopping or temple exploring. The kitchen‘s properly equipped too, which matters if you want to hit the local markets in Phuket and try cooking some of those exotic fruits you’ve never seen before. I spent a good chunk of one morning just floating in that pool with a coffee, listening to the geckos chatting in the palm trees overhead. There’s something about having your own private outdoor space in the tropics that just hits different than hotel amenities, you know? The whole place has this relaxed, lived-in comfort that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than just another rental property. Plus, parking‘s right there – no hunting around narrow streets or paying extra fees, which anyone who’s driven in Phuket will appreciate.

  Big TV screen in main room, général confort in villa was really nice and cosy. We enjoyed the sofa and pool side. The proximity with the main road of Rawai you can walk to go lunch or else.
