I’ll be honest – I almost walked right past The Elements Boutique House the first time I was looking for it. It’s one of those places that doesn’t shout for attention from the street, which honestly turned out to be part of its charm. Once you step inside though, you immediately get why this four-star spot has such a stellar reputation (we’re talking a 9.5 rating, which is pretty incredible).

What struck me first was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between boutique intimacy and actually having your needs met. You know how some smaller places can feel a bit… amateur? Not here. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, and I mean that in the best way – they’re attentive without hovering, professional without being stuffy. The design feels intentional too, like someone actually thought about how spaces flow together rather than just throwing trendy furniture around. I spent way too much time in the common areas just because they felt so naturally comfortable – sort of like being in a really well-designed friend’s living room, if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and unlimited budget.

The rooms themselves hit that perfect balance of style and function that’s honestly pretty rare. Everything works the way it should (I’m looking at you, hotels with impossible shower controls), but it doesn’t feel sterile or corporate. The beds are legitimately comfortable – and I say this as someone who usually needs a few nights to adjust to hotel mattresses. Honestly, what impressed me most was the attention to small details that you don’t always notice until they’re missing elsewhere. Good lighting for actually reading, enough outlets in useful places, proper blackout capabilities. It’s clear someone who actually stays in hotels had input on the room design. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – spacious enough that you’re not doing some weird dance around your luggage, and the water pressure is consistently solid.

I actually ended up extending my stay by a night because I wasn’t quite ready to leave, which should tell you something. The neighborhood has this great energy without being chaotic, and you’re close enough to everything that matters without dealing with the constant noise and crowds. Plus, the check-in process was refreshingly smooth – none of that awkward waiting around while they sort things out. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels special but not precious, where the quality actually matches the ratings, this place delivers. Just don’t expect it to announce itself with flashy signage – the good stuff here is more subtle than that.

Room was spacious and clean, and there were amazing complimentary cookies from the host as well. This stay was amazing, and the value proposition is unbeatable.   Wonderful. The whole building is beautiful. The floors are stunning. Our room (Aqua) was fantastic and great value for money.
  Very clean, and very spacious. Thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. The double sink and huge mirror was fab. Comfy beds and nice linens. Luxurious touches – coffee machine, fab toiletries. Good shower. And cherry on top- the fab bath!
