The Room Experience

My room was exactly what I needed after long days exploring Phuket’s southern tip. Clean, comfortable, with that perfect AC that actually works (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Thailand). The design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and local touches — nothing too fancy, but everything works well. What really impressed me was the attention to detail; fresh towels, good water pressure, and a bed that didn’t leave me tossing and turning. The windows let in just enough natural light without making the space feel like a fishbowl.

Staying here puts you in the heart of what I consider the “real” Rawai experience. You’re close enough to walk to Promthep Cape for sunset (though honestly, go early because everyone else has the same idea), and the local seafood market is just down the road. The area around the hotel has these little family-run restaurants where you’ll get some of the best som tam and grilled fish on the island — places that don’t even have English menus, which is always a good sign. It’s also super easy to catch a longtail boat to Coral Island from nearby Chalong Pier if you want to do some island hopping.

  Everything! We wish we had more time to enjoy this place.
  The beach is minutes walk away the spot is great for snorkelling even in the rainy season.
  The hotel itself is charming and well designed, Tucked away on a quiet street surrounded by greenery. There are only a few (spacious and comfy) rooms and 2 terraces, a pool, and a thorougjly equipped common kitchen. We felt at home from the moment we arrived.
  Galahat is also incredibly helpful and welcoming. He helped us with everything from snorkelling equipment to mosquitoe bite remedy.

  Great location right near to the beach, wonderful hosts, who were helpful and friendly, gave all the tips how to get around, you can rent the bike at the same spot. Overall – place has an amazing chill vibe, definitely recommend 🙂

  Great location, 5 min walking from the beach. Very cosy atmosphere, welcoming and helpful hosts. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a breakfast or make a coffee. We stayed with family, so great space to spend evenings together playing board games.

  We loved our stay here! The place has a hippie and relaxing vibe to it and the hosts were so accommodating, friendly and did everything they could to make us feel at home. We were able to make our breakfast in the shared kitchen which was a massive plus. The location is great – super close to a beautiful beach. We would definitely come back if we are lucky enough to come back to Phuket in the future!

  Galahad and Fleur were so welcoming and kind and made us feel really at home. Galahad was very happy to pick us up from the bus stop at Rawai and it was a short trip to the guest house. A fabulous pool to refresh ourselves and the beach just a 3 min walk away. There was a kitchen including a barista coffee machine for us to use and fridge space dedicated to us too. Our room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with an artistic touch and very spacious. The space felt safe with a door code entry system. We would def choose to stay here again .
