But actually, this four-star villa in Karon turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special.

The pool is honestly the star of the show here – and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s not massive, but it’s perfectly sized for the villa, and there’s something really satisfying about having your own private slice of water when Karon Beach gets a bit too crowded (which, let’s face it, it does during peak season). The three bedrooms are spread out nicely, so if you’re traveling with family or friends, nobody feels cramped. I actually loved how the master bedroom opens right onto the pool area – there’s something luxurious about being able to roll out of bed and basically fall into the water. The other two rooms are solid too, though they’re a bit more traditional in layout.

What really got me was the attention to detail throughout the place. The kitchen is actually functional – not one of those fake display kitchens you sometimes get in vacation rentals. You can properly cook here if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the local markets (and trust me, the night market near Karon Circle is worth the trip). The living area flows naturally into the outdoor space, which makes evening drinks by the pool feel effortless. I spent most of my mornings out there with coffee, watching the palm trees sway – sounds cliché, but it genuinely never got old. The villa sits in a quiet residential area, so you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of scooters and tour groups that you get closer to the main beach road. Yet somehow, you’re still only about a ten-minute walk from all the action in Karon – the restaurants, bars, and that gorgeous stretch of sand that’s somehow less chaotic than Patong but still has plenty going on. Parking was never an issue, which is honestly a relief in this part of Phuket. The whole place just feels thoughtfully designed rather than thrown together, and with an 8.8 rating from other guests, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so.

  The size of the villa was good for 3 adults and 3 teens. Kitchen had necessary pots, pans etc. Rooms were clean. Ownwr/Mr. Lee was great when we had any questions or needed a quick fix of one shower. Pool was great after a hot day of touring.
  Location was good, beach about 3 blocks away and easy to get anywhere with Bolt.

  Open spacious kitchen lounge and dining. Loved the private pool area and the bats that come in at dusk during our stay. We were a group of 5, and everyone was pleased.
