Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Sira Grande Hotel & Spa, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name sounds grand, and while it’s definitely a solid four-star property, it’s got this understated elegance that actually works in its favor. You know what I mean? Sometimes the places that don’t scream for attention end up being the most memorable.

The spa is really where this place shines, and I’m saying this as someone who usually rolls their eyes at hotel spas. They’ve got this treatment room with floor-to-ceiling windows that honestly made me forget I had anywhere else to be. The massage therapists actually know what they’re doing – not just going through the motions like you get at some places. I ended up booking a second session because, well, why not? The pool area connects seamlessly with the spa facilities, and there’s this quiet courtyard where you can actually hear yourself think. During my stay, I noticed they keep the music at just the right level – present but not intrusive.

What impressed me most was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about the details. My room had this weird issue with the air conditioning remote (these things happen), and instead of just swapping it out, the maintenance guy actually took five minutes to show me all the settings. Small thing, maybe, but it made a difference. The rooms themselves are well-appointed without being fussy – good linens, decent shower pressure, and thankfully, blackout curtains that actually block out light. I stayed on the third floor and barely heard any street noise, though I imagine the lower floors might pick up a bit more activity during busier periods. The restaurant serves breakfast until 10:30, which saved me more than once when I overslept after those spa sessions. Their coffee is surprisingly good too – I mean, hotel coffee can be hit or miss, but they’ve clearly put some thought into it. With a 7.9 rating, it sits right where you’d expect it to – not perfect, but definitely delivering on what it promises.

  I liked the location. The friendly and helpful staff. The TV was not working correctly and the manager and the nice lady manger got it replaced next morning , with a brand new TV out of the box , very efficient . And another staff member Win Doh on the nightshift Bar. Very nice person who promoted your facilities well and was very helpful with hotel information and the local area. A great employee all together .
