The Front Village sits right on Patak Road, which means you’ve got easy access to the beach (it’s literally a few minutes’ walk) and plenty of local spots for dinner. I mean, couples seem to really appreciate this setup — they consistently rate the location around 8.6, and I can see why. You can stroll to the main beach area without dealing with the chaos of Patong, but if you want that energy, it’s just a quick tuk-tuk ride away.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for this price point. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to blend modern amenities with touches that actually feel Thai — not the generic “tropical” stuff you see everywhere. The air conditioning works properly (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), and there’s enough parking on-site that you don’t have to worry if you’ve rented a scooter to explore the island. The bathroom setup is well thought out too, with decent water pressure and toiletries that don’t smell like cheap soap.

Breakfast here is actually worth waking up for — they do both American and buffet style, so whether you want your usual eggs and bacon or feel like trying some local fruit you’ve never heard of, you’re covered. What really caught my attention though were the cooking classes they offer. I’ll be honest, I was skeptical at first, but learning to make proper pad thai from someone who actually knows what they’re doing was one of those unexpected highlights. They also have a fitness center and happy hour, which gives you options depending on your mood.

  Its by Karon beach. A very clean and quiet beach.
  The resort decoration feels more vintage, which I really liked. Markets 7.11, delicious restaurant and cafes, and small shops are minutes away of walking.

  When you get out of the hotel gate, at the left side by the lake there is a cute dog name (Dudu) living with his owner. Please feed him. He really gets happy when someone calls his name and feed him🩷
