Here’s the thing about location in Patong Beach — it’s everything, and Novotel nailed it. You’re close enough to walk to all the action on Bangla Road when you want it, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The hotel sits right near Kalim Beach, which is honestly one of my favorite spots because it’s way less crowded than the main Patong stretch. I mean, couples absolutely love this area (they rate it 8.8 apparently), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having that quieter beach practically to yourself.

The Room Experience

Let me tell you about the beds here — they’re seriously comfortable. I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses, but I slept like a baby every single night. The room itself was spacious enough that I didn’t feel cramped with all my travel gear spread out, and the balcony view was actually worth stepping outside for. The air conditioning works perfectly too, which you definitely appreciate when that Thai humidity hits. Small detail, but the bathroom was clean and modern — sometimes it’s the little things that make or break a stay.

Food and Practical Perks

Breakfast here is where they really shine. The buffet spread covers everything from traditional Asian dishes to American classics, plus they’ve got vegetarian and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. I watched them make fresh eggs to order every morning, and the local fruit selection was incredible. What I really appreciated was the free parking — sounds basic, but when you’re renting a scooter to explore the island, having a safe place to leave it without extra charges is actually huge.

  Spent 6 days with family and friends. The view is awesome from the Pinnacle Bar especially seeing the fireworks of 31st Dec. Hotel is well situated with good facilities. Staffs is very friendly and helpful. Prices are very affordable. Good value for money.
