Tucked away in the Green Hill Residence complex in Rawai, this four-star property feels more like a well-kept secret than your typical tourist hotel. The moment you pull up — and yes, there’s parking right on site, which is actually a big deal in this part of Phuket Town — you’re greeted by lush greenery that lives up to the name. It’s one of those places where you immediately think, “okay, this is going to be good.”

The Setting

What I love about Rawai is that it’s far enough from the chaos of Patong to feel peaceful, but close enough to everything that matters. You’re basically on the doorstep of some of Phuket’s most beautiful beaches, and the hotel takes full advantage of that beachfront location. The swimming pool area becomes this perfect middle ground — sometimes you want the ocean, sometimes you want the convenience of a pool, and here you don’t have to choose. I mean, there’s something pretty satisfying about being able to walk from your room to the beach in just a few minutes.

  The huge pool is shared by about 6-8 homes in a private community – we had it all to ourselves most of the time. The house is spacious, beautifully designed, with a gorgeous view of the tropics. We were here 10 days in August 2023 and just loved everything. The house is well equipped with laundry, dishes, sheets, and towels. We could walk to restaurants and mini marts only a few minutes away.
