This hotel sits right in that perfect zone where you can walk to the beach in maybe three minutes (I timed it), and there’s this little local coffee shop just around the corner that honestly makes better Thai iced coffee than most of the resort places. The lobby has this open-air thing going on with these massive ceiling fans that actually work – you know how some places just have them for show? Not here. I mean, you’ll still want the AC in your room during the day, but the common areas stay surprisingly comfortable.

What really got me was the attention to small stuff. The pool area doesn’t feel cramped like so many hotels try to squeeze in, and they’ve got these day beds that are actually comfortable for more than twenty minutes. The rooms – well, they’re what you’d expect from a solid four-star, nothing fancy but everything works properly. Good water pressure (crucial after a beach day), blackout curtains that actually block light, and the Wi-Fi reaches the balcony which is more than I can say for some five-star places I’ve stayed at. The staff remembers your name after day two, which sounds small but makes a huge difference when you’re trying to relax. I noticed they keep the place really clean without being obsessive about it – like, they’re not hovering around you constantly, but your towels get changed and the floors don’t feel sandy.

The location thing is real though – you’re about a ten-minute walk from the main strip of restaurants, which means it’s quiet enough to actually sleep at night but close enough that you don’t need to plan your whole evening around getting back. There’s this Italian place called Benny’s that’s maybe five minutes away, and if you’re there during sunset, just trust me on this one. The hotel itself doesn’t serve knockout food, but it’s totally decent, and honestly, you’re in Thailand – you should be eating out anyway. Just watch out during high season because the whole area gets pretty packed, and the taxi situation can get interesting. But that’s Phuket for you, not really the hotel’s fault.
