I mean, you could easily spend your entire trip just between the hotel and this immediate area without feeling like you’re missing out.

Rooms That Actually Work

My room was exactly what I needed — spacious enough to spread out, with a balcony that caught the morning breeze perfectly. The bed was properly comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and the bathroom had one of those rain showers that actually works well. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details — plenty of outlets, good lighting for reading, and blackout curtains that actually block light. The air conditioning runs quietly, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag.

The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Thai and international dishes, though honestly, with all the amazing local spots nearby, I didn’t eat there every night. Breakfast was consistently good — fresh fruit, decent coffee, and enough variety to keep things interesting over a week-long stay. The pool area becomes this nice social hub in the evenings, where you’ll find a mix of couples and solo travelers just hanging out. There’s something relaxed about the whole atmosphere that makes it easy to strike up conversations if you’re in the mood.

You’re ten minutes from the airport (super convenient for those late flights), but the location doesn’t feel rushed or touristy.   Booked this hotel at very short notice (night before) because of an unexpected change of travel schedule. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room – we had initially been sceptical of the size). The room exceeded expectations, with a sea view, comfortable beds, and even a mini fridge (which was not in the advertisement). There is a pool on the roof with deck chairs and sun umbrellas and panorama view – it is great.
  The staff is very friendly, forthcoming, and attentive. They made an effort to take care of us and to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were always smiling and cheerful.
  Breakfast was great – nothing crazy, but good options and variety over the course of a week. The hotel is relatively small, so a breakfast buffet is not easy to get right. They did well here. It is a modern-styled hotel, and it was good.
  The lobby is great – open air. The hotel is not on the beach, but very close. You can walk there in three minutes. Three minutes in the other direction, you'll pass by a 7-eleven and a local market where you can get fresh fruit, vegetable, food, and other things at normal prices. The airport is ten minutes away, and you can get a taxi either from the hotel lobby or right across the street from a taxi stand.
  Kokotel is conscious if the environmental impact of hotels, and they make it easy for their guests to reduce their environmental impact.
  Overall, this was wonderful and refreshing in an otherwise potentially stressful situation.

  The staff is perfect. We bought some fresh fruit and they offered to cut it in the kitchen and did a great job.
  We also asked to move to another room with a better view and they moved us when a suitable room became available.

  The staff is super friendly and helpful, until the very least minute even if we had to leave very late for our flight. Bed is comfortable, free drinking water on every floor and pleasant pool area

  Amazing stay!! Hotel is beautiful and clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location right next to the beach, and close to the airport. The rooftop pool is absolutely amazing. We loved it!
