The apartment itself is on the seventh floor – hence the “703” – which means you’re high enough to catch those amazing sunset views but not so high that the elevator ride becomes a thing. I mean, the living area flows seamlessly onto this wraparound balcony where I probably spent half my mornings just watching the longtail boats drift by with my coffee. The kitchen‘s actually functional too, which is rare for vacation rentals – I ended up cooking a few meals using ingredients from the weekend market in nearby Chalong, and it felt surprisingly natural.

What really sets this place apart is its position right on Karon Beach itself. You’re literally steps from some of the softest sand on the island, but far enough south from the main strip that you avoid most of the crowd noise and tuk-tuk chaos. The beach right in front gets this perfect morning light, and by afternoon, you can walk north toward the main Karon area if you want more restaurant options, or head south for those quieter stretches where locals sometimes bring their families on weekends. I actually discovered this little seafood spot called Kan Eang @ Pier just a fifteen-minute walk away – the kind of place you’d never find unless someone told you about it. The apartment’s building is well-maintained too; there’s decent parking if you rent a scooter (which I highly recommend for getting around the island), and the other residents seem to be a mix of long-term visitors and locals, which gives it this authentic, lived-in feeling rather than that sterile hotel vibe. Sure, you don’t get daily housekeeping or a concierge, but honestly, having your own space to spread out, do laundry, and just exist without feeling like you’re constantly “on vacation” – well, that’s worth way more than turndown service.

  Location of property was fantastic, right next to the beach with fantastic view of sunsets 🌅. Check-in was seamless and easy and security at the property friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean spacious and modern, with a full kitchen for dining in if you so wished. Everything you need is only a short walk away, while not being obtrusive to the apartment. Would definitely come back and suggest to others 👍

  Great location and great facilities. The 2 bedroom family apartment is privately owned and we were hosted by the owner but the apartment is beach front located within the massive Paradox resort. Our host and apartment owner (Ettiene) was amazing and he looked after us extremely well providing valuable assistance and local information throughout our stay.
