Look, I’ll be honest with you – Da Airport Hotel isn’t going to win any design awards, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need. This four-star place gets the job done in a way that actually makes sense, especially when you’re dealing with early flights or those brutal red-eye connections.

The first thing that struck me walking in was how quiet it actually is inside. I mean, you’d expect airport noise to be an issue, but they’ve done something right with the soundproofing because I slept better here than at some fancy downtown hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are what I’d call “efficiently comfortable” – not huge, but everything’s where it should be, and the bed is surprisingly decent. The shower pressure is solid too, which honestly matters more to me than marble countertops when I’m trying to wake up at 5 AM for a flight. You know what I really appreciated? The blackout curtains actually work, and there’s enough outlets near the bed that you don’t have to crawl under furniture to charge your phone.

The staff here seems to get that most guests are in transit mode – they’re quick at check-in, they know the shuttle schedules by heart, and they don’t try to upsell you on spa treatments when you clearly just want to crash for six hours. I’ve stayed here three times now, and each time the front desk has been able to arrange early check-in without making it feel like I’m asking for a kidney. The shuttle runs every twenty minutes during peak hours, which is way more reliable than some places I’ve been where you’re left standing outside wondering if the driver forgot about you. There’s a decent restaurant on-site that stays open late – nothing fancy, but their club sandwich at 11 PM hit the spot, and the coffee is strong enough to remind you you’re still alive. The whole place has this practical, no-nonsense vibe that I’ve grown to appreciate. Sure, it’s got a 7.1 rating and not higher, but sometimes that’s because people expect airport hotels to feel like resort destinations, which seems sort of missing the point to me.

  The location of D.A Airport hotel was ideal, all local TukTuk drivers knew the location of our hotel,, there was a 7/11 next door which was super convenient especially for the midnight snacks

  Staff are wonderful and very accommodating unfortunately did not speak great English but that’s to be expected their English put my Thai to Shane so I can’t really judge
