You know what surprised me most about Beverly Hills Villa Patong with Seaview? It actually lives up to that name – and honestly, in Patong, that’s saying something. I mean, there are plenty of places claiming ocean views that show you maybe a sliver of blue between two concrete towers, but this place gets it right. The seaview rooms genuinely give you that postcard-perfect stretch of Patong Bay, especially from the higher floors where you can watch the longtail boats bobbing around in the morning light.

The location is pretty smart too – you’re close enough to the action on Bangla Road that you can stumble back after a night out (and trust me, you’ll want that short walk), but far enough up the hillside that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and chaos. I stayed here during high season and while the beach area was absolutely packed, the hotel felt like this calm little bubble. The four-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be some ultra-luxury resort, but everything works properly and the rooms are actually spacious, which you can’t take for granted in this part of Phuket. The air conditioning is solid (crucial in that humidity), and I loved that they have those big sliding doors leading to proper balconies, not just those tiny French balcony things you get at some places.

What really sold me on this spot was the staff – they actually know the area and can point you toward the good local spots instead of just the touristy ones. The woman at the front desk told me about this little Thai place tucked behind the main strip that honestly had better pad thai than anything on the beach road, and for like a third of the price. The pool area is where you’ll probably spend your afternoons anyway – it’s got this nice elevated position where you can see the ocean while you’re lounging, and it doesn’t get completely overrun with kids splashing around. I actually ended up having some of my best conversations with other travelers there, which doesn’t always happen at the bigger resorts where everyone kind of keeps to themselves. The whole vibe is relaxed but not sleepy, if that makes sense – perfect for when you want to recharge between beach days and those infamous Patong nights.

  Property’s location was strategic and very comfortable. We had a good stay at Beverly hill’s villa. There were food shops nearby and it was very convenient. A definitely recommended place if youre looking for a more quiet night as compared to staying near patong beach
