The terraced design works beautifully with the natural hillside, and there’s this immediate sense that you’ve found something special — not flashy or over-the-top, just genuinely well-thought-out.

Location & Getting Around

You know what I love about Kamala Beach? It’s got that sweet spot vibe — close enough to Patong’s action when you want it, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos every single day. The beach itself is maybe a five-minute drive down the hill, and it’s one of those stretches where you can actually hear yourself think. I mean, Kamala’s always been the more laid-back cousin to Phuket’s busier beaches, and staying up in the hills gives you these glimpses of the Andaman Sea that make the short trip down totally worth it.

The Villa Experience

Each villa here feels like your own private retreat — and I’m not just saying that. The terraced layout means you’re not staring directly into your neighbor’s windows, which is honestly refreshing after staying at some of those cramped resort complexes. My room had this open, airy feel with enough space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. The design leans modern Thai without being too themed, if that makes sense — clean lines, natural materials, but still feels authentically local rather than like a hotel chain dropped something generic here.

Here’s where things get interesting — they’ve got this whole spa setup that goes beyond the usual hotel massage offerings. The body scrub treatment actually uses local ingredients (I asked), and the back massage… well, let’s just say I booked a second session before checkout. There’s something about getting pampered while you can hear the tropical birds in the background that beats any city spa hands down. Plus, the free parking might sound mundane, but when you’re exploring Phuket with a rental car, not worrying about where to leave it is actually a huge relief.

  Light, clean, spacious, modern, and amazing staff! Housekeeping were fabulous and the whole team couldn’t have been more helpful! The only thing missing for us was a hot tub.

  The villa was very spacious. The view from the villa is picture perfect, can't get board from the very scenic view of the ocean, mountains and the sky. If you do get board then they have a great shuttle as well to get around kamala.

  The villa is even more charming in person, with ample space that's just perfect for a family of seven. Everything you require for cooking is readily available, save for the ingredients, of course. Additionally, there's a dishwasher provided, though you may need to buy your own tablets. The staff communication was prompt and efficient, with a warm welcome awaiting us upon our arrival at the villa. For added convenience, meals and massages can be arranged at the villa for an extra charge. However, the surrounding area has plenty of cafes and restaurants, with the Memory Cafe particularly just 5 mins down the road.
