I stayed here during shoulder season (honestly the best time to visit this area), and what struck me immediately was how quiet it gets once you step inside. You’re close enough to hear the ocean but far enough from the main Bangtao strip that you won’t deal with late-night party noise. The kitchen situation is legit too – not just some mini-fridge and kettle situation, but actual counter space where you can prep fresh fruit from the local markets. I ended up cooking more than I planned, partly because the nearest restaurants, while good, can add up cost-wise if you’re staying more than a few days.

What really sold me on this place was the balance it strikes. Layan Beach is literally a ten-minute walk north, and that’s where the locals go when they want to avoid tourist crowds – cleaner sand, better swimming, way fewer vendors trying to sell you stuff every five minutes. Bangtao’s just as close in the other direction when you do want more action, restaurants, or that touristy beach vibe. The apartment itself feels more like someone’s actual home than a sterile rental, which sounds small but makes a huge difference when you’re settling in for a week. Parking‘s straightforward (no hunting around narrow sois), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly simple – no lengthy presentations about timeshares or mandatory breakfast packages. I actually ended up extending my stay by three days, something I rarely do, because I realized I’d found one of those rare spots where you can genuinely relax without constantly planning your next move.

  Great location nearby lots of good restaurants and bars. Not far from the beach (I think it was 20 minutes walking but it's easy to get a Grab if you need to). Comfy place. Having laundry on-site is awesome.

  Great location because everything is really close. Note that some traffic noise can be heard in the apartment because of it's location but it's not too bad. The small kitchen is fully equipped, the internet is fast, bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. I would be happy to stay here again.
