You know what? I’ve stayed at plenty of beachfront places in Thailand, but Zenmaya Oceanfront Phuket, Trademark Collection by Wyndham actually surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to this five-star property, I’ll be honest – I was expecting another cookie-cutter resort. But there’s something genuinely different about this place that hits you the moment you walk into that lobby.

The oceanfront location is legitimately spectacular, and I mean that – not just marketing speak. Your room faces directly onto the Andaman Sea, and honestly, I found myself just standing on the balcony way longer than planned, watching the longtail boats drift by. The beach access is immediate, no trudging through other resorts or navigating confusing pathways. What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this zen-like atmosphere (clever name, right?) without feeling stuffy or overly precious about it. The staff genuinely seems to care about the details – they remembered my name after day one and actually knew my coffee preference by day three, which rarely happens at larger properties.

I have to say, the rooms themselves feel thoughtfully designed rather than just expensive. The beds are properly comfortable (not just pretty), and the bathroom situation is legitimately luxurious without being wasteful. The air conditioning works perfectly – crucial in Phuket’s humidity – and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re right on the water. I actually slept better here than I expected, even with early morning fishing boats heading out. The pool area gets busy around midday, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself before 9 AM. Food-wise, their restaurant doesn’t try to do everything and actually succeeds at what they focus on – the Thai dishes are authentic, and their Western options don’t feel like afterthoughts. Parking was straightforward, check-in was smooth, and they have this nice touch where they offer you a cold towel and local juice while you’re getting sorted. The 8.4 rating makes complete sense to me – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises and then some. If you’re looking for that balance between luxury and authenticity in Phuket, this place genuinely nails it.

  The room was nice and clean the bed was very comfortable we were really happy to stay in it, the pool was absolutely amazing, it was overlooking the sea we could see the sea and part of patong beach while we were swimming, the breakfast is good, many selections of food.
  Everything was great, the staff was really friendly all of them and that’s what I was really like besides everything, they are always ready to help,
  Unfortunately I couldn’t remember their names to mention but all of them were lovely , I could remember (pop) the young girl she was so lovely ☺️
