I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Zcape at Bangtao, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come from places that don’t try too hard to impress you. This little gem sits right in the heart of Bangtao Beach area, and after staying there twice now, I can tell you it’s got that relaxed Phuket vibe down to a science.

The thing about Bangtao is that it’s not as crazy touristy as Patong – you can actually hear yourself think here. Zcape gets this perfectly. The property has this laid-back, almost bohemian feel that works really well with the whole beachside setting. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from one of Phuket’s longest stretches of sand, and the staff there actually remembers your name after day two (which honestly doesn’t happen much anymore). The rooms aren’t fancy – we’re talking clean, comfortable, with decent air con that actually works – but they’ve got character. Mine had this quirky little balcony that looked out over the pool area, and I spent way too many mornings there with terrible instant coffee just watching people start their day.

What really sold me on this place was how it feels like a proper neighborhood spot rather than some sterile hotel complex. The local motorcycle taxi guys know it well, so getting around is never a hassle, and there’s this fantastic little Thai restaurant about two minutes down the road that does the best green curry I’ve had outside of Bangkok – the hotel folks will point you there if you ask nicely. The pool area gets pretty lively in the afternoons (nothing too crazy, just families and couples hanging out), but by evening it’s this peaceful little oasis where you can actually relax. I’ve stayed at fancier places in Phuket that felt like tourist factories, but Zcape has this genuine, unpretentious energy that makes you want to slow down a bit. Plus, and this matters more than you’d think, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property, the showers have proper water pressure, and they don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing. For what you pay, especially if you’re looking for a solid base to explore the area without breaking the bank, it really delivers.

  The room I got was probably one of the best room in the apartment. The room is semi-partitioned into one bedroom and one living room. The room was very clean and equipped with most necessities. We also got a big refrigerator, a laundry machine, as well as an iron and an ironing board. The balcony also has a net to prevent the birds from ruining the laundry. The location of the apartment was also great, right next to a large supermarket and a food avenue.

  Кондо в центре бангтао можно сказать, два шага до Порто де пхукет, боат авеню , то есть куча кафе /фруктов/ магазины/ массажи. До моря далековато но если вы на байке – не проблема. И главное недорого!!!!!
