The building sits right on Yaowarat Road – and if you know anything about Phuket Town, you’ll recognize this as one of those streets where the old Sino-Portuguese architecture hasn’t been completely bulldozed yet. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from all those colorful shophouses and the weekend market chaos, but somehow the hotel itself feels like a quiet pocket away from it all.

The rooms have this sort of vintage charm that doesn’t feel forced – dark wood furniture, traditional Thai touches, but they’ve managed to keep everything properly maintained. I stayed on the second floor and could hear the street life below during the day, which honestly added to the authentic feel rather than being annoying. The staff here actually knows the neighborhood, too. When I asked about where to get proper local coffee in the morning, they pointed me to this tiny place two blocks down that I never would’ve found otherwise – no tourist prices, just strong Thai coffee and locals reading newspapers.

What really impressed me was how they’ve struck this balance between preserving the old-world feel and making sure everything works properly. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, the WiFi actually reaches all corners of the room, and the bathroom – well, it’s compact but everything’s in good working order. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting genuine character without sacrificing basic comfort. Sure, it’s not luxury, but if you want to stay somewhere that feels connected to the actual spirit of Phuket Town rather than just being convenient to it, this place delivers. Plus, you can walk to the Thavorn Museum and those gorgeous old mansions in about ten minutes, and the local bus to the beaches runs right past the front door.

  I had the pleasure of staying in the most beautiful house in Phuket's Old Town, and what an experience it was! The hostess welcomed us with open arms – her kindness is truly unmatched. Not to mention the cleanliness of the house; it exceeded all expectations.
  
  The location? Simply perfect. Right in the heart of the Old Town, so everything you need or want to see is just a stone's throw away. But perhaps the best thing about this place are the creative minds that inhabit it. The hostess and her husband (the architect who renovated the house) are not only warm but also incredibly creative and full of great tips for the area – from the best local activities to top-notch restaurant recommendations.
  
  I can't wait to come back. For anyone looking for an authentic and heartfelt experience in Phuket, this is the place you shouldn't miss. Would love to return!

  This was one of my greatest experiences I ever had in a journey – I immedialtely fell in love already from the pictures while booking but my expectations had been exceeded in a way I could never imagine:
  – the space: I've never been in such a spacious accomodation before.
  – the history: this place puts you back in a time where phuket wasn't overflown by tourism. the renovation of this house is so subtle and genuine, no wonder it's an architects work ; )
  – the comfort: even you have this touch of past life, there's no need to step down from modern luxury as they have a highest standard aircon aso.
  – the design: again it's such a great design work from the owner fusing old and new in a very very interesting way. everywhere you can see traces from the past…
  – the hospitality: I have the feeling I gained new friends and again, I haven't expereinced such a warm and friendly hospitality before.
  the recommendations: follow them!! I got the best food in the most authentic restaurants in phuket.

  Typisches Altstadthaus mit Loft-ähnlicher grossräumiger Wohnung im 1. Obergeschoss. Liebevolle Einrichtung und überaus aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, 2 Sofas. im Erdgeschoss hat es die Möglichkeit, kalte Speisen zuzubereiten und sich dort zu verpflegen, auch Kaffee zu kochen. Es gibt (fast) in naher Umgebung.
