The weekend walking market happens right around the corner, and you can actually walk to proper Thai restaurant where locals eat — not the touristy stuff you find near the beaches. Couples seem to absolutely love this area (they rate it 9.7), and I can see why — it’s got that romantic, old-world vibe without being overly polished.

Here’s something I wasn’t expecting — the beds are genuinely fantastic. I usually struggle with hotel beds being too soft or too firm, but they’ve really nailed it here.   It is comfortable, clean, modern and has everything you need for exploring Phuket Old Town or further afield. The decor in the reception area and downstairs cafe is cool. It’s an amazing location for exploring the old town. There are 2 fantastic restaurants opposite, including Royde which is a Michelin star restaurant. Recommend booking in advance, we sadly didn’t get to eat here as we hadn’t pre booked but it looks amazing and heard good things.
