Panwa Beach itself is sort of Phuket’s best-kept secret — well, maybe not secret anymore, but definitely less chaotic than Patong or Kata. You’re looking at maybe a 15-minute drive to the main action if you want it, but honestly, I found myself just staying put most days. The beachfront access means you can literally walk from your suite to the sand, which is pretty fantastic when you’re feeling lazy. Couples seem to really get this location (I can see why the rating is so high), because there’s something inherently romantic about having a quieter beach practically to yourselves.

Activities and Amenities

The fitness center is actually decent — not huge, but it has what you need if you’re trying to maintain some semblance of a workout routine on vacation. What I really enjoyed was the canoeing; there’s something peaceful about paddling around the calmer waters near Panwa that beats the typical tourist boat tours. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re exploring the island with a rental car. I mean, finding a spot in some parts of Phuket can be a real headache.

Why Guests Love It

There’s this perfect balance here that’s hard to find — you get the amenities and comfort of a quality hotel without feeling like you’re in some massive resort complex. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, not just going through the motions.   The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely the best staff I've encountered in any accommodation. They helped us organise tours, find places to go, even find very specific things we wanted to buy in store.
  
  The location is amazing. Far away form busy tourist streets and beeches right at the beach. Perfect to relax by the pool after the busy day of sightseeing and exhausting island tours. If you want to explore the bay you can use the complimentary kayak. There are bunch of restaurants couple of minutes drive from the accommodation or right there at the beach at the restaurant next door.

  WOW! This was a non forgettable apartment! Perfect view very dreamy, staff was very very friendly the room was perfect more than perfect, it was on the beach the pool was more than perfect, 1000000/10. Very helpful staff. we also had an small pool in our balcony which was also beautiful and perfect, bed very comfortable. Kitchen very helpful.
  The apartment is on a hill so places such as patong beach and bangla road are very far. On the hill there are many massage salons very good price also if you want to take a bike, many options there and supermarket also 500 meters.
