Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first pulled up to ViVi Hotel Resort, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. It’s got that three-star classification, but you know what? Sometimes those mid-range places surprise you in the best ways, and this one actually does.

The lobby hits you with this unexpectedly warm vibe – not trying too hard to be fancy, but definitely not your typical budget chain either. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting you sorted, which I mean, sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that’s becoming these days. My room was clean (obviously important) but also had these little touches that showed someone was actually thinking about guest comfort – like decent lighting by the bed for reading and a shower with proper water pressure. The Wi-Fi worked without me having to call the front desk three times, which honestly deserves a mention in 2024.

What really won me over was the breakfast situation. I’m usually skeptical of hotel breakfast spreads, but they had this rotating selection that wasn’t just the same sad pastries every morning. The coffee was surprisingly good too – and I’m picky about coffee. The pool area is where this place really shines though. It’s not huge, but it’s well-maintained and the surrounding deck actually gets good sun most of the day. I spent more time there than I planned, just because it felt relaxing rather than like some afterthought amenity. The evening crowd tends to be pretty chill – mostly couples and families, not a party scene if that matters to you. Parking was straightforward, no weird fees or having to circle the block forever. Check-in was quick, and they actually had local restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the tourist traps (always a good sign). The rooms stay pretty quiet even when the place is busy, which tells me the walls aren’t paper-thin like some places I could mention. That 8.1 rating it’s got? Yeah, I can see why – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises.

  Really nice outside set up and good location. Room was nice, loved the outside personal deck. Inside was okay not really updated and room set up kinda weird how the desk.
  Kinda had to climb over the bed to get to the side.
  Bathroom was nice. But bad lighting. I think bad lighting might be a thing put here.
  Had the normal couple cockroachs i had to kill but thats honestly normal for the area, they just didn't have bug killer in the room like some places I've been too. A fast spray each week is probably needed.
  Other than that, honestly, a nice place. I would love to go back when the prices aren't crazy high. $700 usd was good for a month, but i wouldn't wanna do anything more than $900usd for just a room and a pool. ( $23-30 a night max worth) They have a sauna that's free for guests, but that's not a selling point at all. Nor is a restaurant & bars. Location is literally in the heart of many great restaurants.
  If I was the owner I would have made the place into a full spa, steam room, cold bath, maybe a small gym. Or made big room to invite location yoga instructors or sounds bowl healing. That would have brought in more money and made the place extremely comforting and desirable since they had the space. The whole yard and pool area is just so calming and chill to not go all out spa & stay.

  We went for spa and that they excepted our dog. My girlfriend loved the sauna and spa. Food was great and reasonably priced, staff were very nice and the place had a nice vibe.
