The pools are a decent size where you can actually swim a few strokes, and the way they’re positioned, you genuinely feel like you’re in your own little world. I spent way too much time floating around at odd hours, watching the sky change colors – something I never thought I’d be the type to do, but there’s something about having that space completely to yourself that just makes you slow down.

What really got me though was the attention to detail that you don’t notice until you’ve been there a few days. The villa design strikes this perfect balance between feeling luxurious without being stuffy – you can walk around barefoot on the smooth stone floors, and everything just feels substantial in a way that makes you trust the place. The outdoor shower situation is honestly brilliant, and I was skeptical about that at first because, well, bugs and privacy concerns. But they’ve thought it through – good drainage, strategic landscaping, and somehow it never felt exposed or uncomfortable. The staff has this way of being incredibly attentive without hovering, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. They seem to anticipate what you need before you realize you need it, but you’re never feeling watched or interrupted.

The resort definitely caters to people who want to unwind without feeling like they’re missing out on anything. You’re not isolated, but you’re also not dealing with crowds or fighting for lounge chairs by a communal pool. I mean, why would you when you’ve got your own? The whole vibe encourages you to actually relax rather than feel like you need to be “on” all the time. Even the little things – like how they handle housekeeping or the quality of the towels – show that someone really thought about what makes a stay memorable versus just adequate. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself extending your stay if you can swing it, and honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who felt that way about it.

Hotel in Phuket booking should be done early, especially during high season when the island hosts internationally celebrated beach parties and cultural festivals at Patong Beach and other iconic locations.

  The Villa we stayed at was relaxing , well set out, very clean, lovely pool and deck area. It is away from the noise of Kamala but not too far away from the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the shuttle service was much appreciated.
