The thing about this five-star villa is that it doesn’t try to impress you with flashy over-the-top stuff. Instead, it’s all these thoughtful details that you notice throughout your stay. The infinity pool, for instance, has this positioning where you’re floating there at sunset and it genuinely feels like you’re swimming into the horizon. I mean, I’ve seen plenty of Instagram-worthy pools, but this one actually delivers on the hype. The villa’s design strikes this perfect balance between contemporary luxury and local architectural elements – you know how some places feel like they could be anywhere in the world? This isn’t that. You can tell someone really understood the local aesthetic and worked with it rather than against it.

What really sold me though was the staff situation. Elite Havens doesn’t just hand you keys and disappear – there’s this whole support system that feels seamless without being intrusive. The villa manager (I think her name was Maya, lovely woman) actually knows the area like the back of her hand and steered me toward this incredible local seafood spot that I never would’ve found otherwise. The housekeeping is daily but they time it perfectly so you barely notice it’s happening, and honestly, the kitchen setup is so well-equipped that I ended up cooking more than I planned. There’s something satisfying about preparing fresh market ingredients in a space that beautiful – the kitchen opens right onto the main living area and pool terrace, so you’re not stuck inside while everyone else is enjoying the view. The bedrooms are generous, obviously, but it’s the little touches like the rainfall showers and the way they’ve positioned everything to maximize those views that show someone really thought this through. I’d definitely go back – actually, I’m already looking at dates for next year, which probably tells you everything you need to know.
