What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area. They pointed me toward this little seafood spot down by Rawai Pier that I never would’ve found otherwise (it’s literally just plastic chairs on the beach, but the tom yum was incredible). The location itself is pretty smart too – you can walk to the main Rawai strip where all the longtail boats dock, but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not hearing motorbikes revving at 6 AM. There’s actually decent parking, which is sort of a miracle in that part of the island. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out your reservation. The whole place has this laid-back energy that matches Rawai perfectly – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, it’s just doing the basics really well. If you’re planning to explore the southern beaches (Yanui Beach is like a 10-minute drive and absolutely stunning), this makes a solid base without breaking the bank.

  We enjoyed staying here. We could do boxing in the old boxing school. Not al lot of equipment there, but it was nice to play around there. Property was also very clean and neat.

  Breakfast was just bananas or bananas and eggs, very basic but appreciated as I didn’t know it was included. 2 bottles of water are also put outside the room every day. Bird is really helpful and he took me to rent a scooter. The room initially smelled of sewage due to a blocked drain so they happily swapped my room for me.
