I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Two Chefs Inn, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name. But you know what? It actually makes perfect sense once you experience their breakfast setup. The two owners (who are indeed both chefs) clearly put their heart into this three-star place, and it shows in ways that matter more than fancy marble lobbies.

The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – clean lines, really comfortable beds, and those little touches that tell you someone actually cares. I mean, they’ve got proper reading lights on both sides of the bed (why is this so rare?) and the shower pressure is honestly better than some five-star places I’ve stayed at. The walls are a bit thin though, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. Not terrible, just… you might hear your neighbors chatting if they’re the talkative type.

What really sets this place apart is the morning experience – both chefs take turns creating these incredible breakfast spreads that change daily based on what’s fresh and seasonal. I stayed four nights and never had the same thing twice. One morning there were these amazing local pastries I’d never seen anywhere else, another day they did this egg dish with herbs I’m pretty sure they grow themselves. The coffee is proper good too, not that generic hotel stuff. You can tell they source it locally and actually know how to brew it. The dining area gets this gorgeous morning light that makes you want to linger over your second cup, and honestly, that’s become my favorite part of staying here. It’s the kind of place where you end up chatting with other guests naturally – not in that forced “hotel social hour” way, but because the atmosphere just invites conversation. I’ve gotten some of my best local recommendations from fellow travelers over breakfast here.
