TP House@Naka Overview
You know what caught me off guard about TP House@Naka? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be anything fancy, but somehow gets all the basics so right that you end up genuinely liking it. I mean, sure, it’s a three-star property, so you’re not expecting marble lobbies or infinity pools, but there’s something refreshingly honest about the whole setup that actually works in its favor.
The rooms are clean and thoughtfully laid out – whoever designed these spaces actually understands how people travel. You’ve got proper outlets near the bed (hallelujah), decent water pressure in the shower, and those blackout curtains that actually block light instead of just pretending to. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which is more important than you’d think until you’re trying to sleep somewhere with a unit that sounds like a construction site. What really impressed me was the little things – good reading lights, a mirror positioned where you can actually use it, and enough surface space to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the floor.
The staff here seem to genuinely care about what they’re doing, which makes such a difference. Check-in was smooth, they had solid local recommendations (not just the touristy stuff everyone suggests), and when I had a question about laundry services, they sorted it out without making it feel like I was asking for the moon. Honestly, I’ve stayed at places charging twice as much where the service felt more transactional. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess? Like they want you to have a good stay without all the theatrical hospitality that some hotels think they need to put on. Breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s fresh and filling, and the coffee is actually drinkable – again, sometimes it’s the simple things that matter most. With an 8.1 rating, this place has clearly figured out how to consistently deliver what travelers actually need rather than what marketing departments think sounds impressive.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Phuket through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best beaches for experiencing the island’s tropical atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.

TP House@Naka is actually close to the Naka market. As Phuket center does not have much to offer (except overpriced restaurants and a few streets with sino-portugese buildings), the Naka location can have some advantages: around you can find delicious Thai food in local setup. The food at Naka market is also delicious (and 3 times cheaper than Phuket center). There is a fruit market on the street at 10 minutes walk, cheapest in all Phuket. And if you book trips they will take you from the hotel. The area is safe and quiet. A lot of local reastaurants nearby.

Although the location as away from tourist hotspots it suited me fine. The main street nearby had everything I wanted re restaurants, market, motor scooter rental, etc. All within 20 minute walk.
Host was excellent and called me by name as I entered the foyer. There is a pharmacy on ground floor which is the entrance to rooms above. I had just come from a camping experience so the room seemed really pleasant after a tent!
When I checked out early one morning my host came with me and waited to make sure my Grab driver turned up.Pierre from United Kingdom (7/10)
Just a basic average room, just be careful which room you choose as sometimes it not correct in the picture. Also communication is very poor!! I told them I would be arriving late due to the taxi and flight and when i got there I was stranded and had to wait half an hour before they sorted it and arrived!
I am also tall and banged my head on the bathroom door entrance as apparently they didn't consider expats when they built it!
It was a really scary experience, my mistake for not booking a 24hr reception oneBogdan from Germany (9/10)

Nice welcoming host, good location. You can do laundry on the spot.
Michal from Czech Republic (9/10)
The room was clean and comfortable, with a rack to dry your clothes as well as your own fridge. There's a kitchen facility downstairs with a microwave and hot water with coffee and tea provided for free.
The location is in walking distance of night market (and a weekend market) as well as several restaurants with reasonable prices. Buses to the beaches are also reachable by a short walk.
