I’ll be honest – when I first heard about The Unity and The Bliss Patong Residence, I thought the name was a bit much. But you know what? After spending time there, it actually makes sense. This four-star place has this zen-meets-tropical vibe that somehow works perfectly in the middle of all the Patong chaos.

The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to create these two distinct feels within the same property. The Unity side feels more modern and sleek – think clean lines and that minimalist aesthetic that photographs well for Instagram. The Bliss section, on the other hand, leans into more traditional Thai touches with warmer woods and local artwork that doesn’t feel touristy. I mean, you’re still in Patong, so you’ll hear the distant hum of motorbikes and maybe some late-night revelry from Bangla Road, but the way the buildings are positioned actually buffers most of the noise pretty well.

What really impressed me was the staff’s local knowledge – not the scripted recommendations you get at chain hotels, but genuine insights about which beach vendors have the freshest fruit or when to hit the markets before the crowds descend. The pool area becomes this perfect refuge during the midday heat, and honestly, the sunset views from the higher floors are spectacular. You get this perfect angle over the Andaman Sea without the premium beachfront prices. The rooms themselves feel spacious for Thailand standards, and I appreciated little details like actually functional air conditioning (you’d be surprised how often that’s not a given) and water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. Parking can be a bit tight during peak season – December through February especially – but there’s usually something available if you’re not driving a massive SUV. The location puts you close enough to the action that a five-minute walk gets you to decent restaurants and the beach, but far enough that you can actually sleep at night without earplugs.

Hotel in Phuket booking should be done early, especially during high season when the island hosts internationally celebrated beach parties and cultural festivals at Patong Beach and other iconic locations.

  The building is located on a hill, close to the center, a short walk away.

  The location was central yet set back and quiet .The apartment was spacious and well equipped . Comfortable bed and pillows .Rooftop pool was very relaxing with great views and suitable for swimming lengths .Friendly efficient team from check in with the lovely bah and the cleaning team the accommodation is kept spotless. If travelling from Phuket airport the best way to travel to the unity is on the 100 baht smart bus, the stop to get off is Patong beach , then walk up the main road 10 minutes and it’s on your left
