The hotel staff actually pointed out the best spots for watching planes come into Phuket Airport (sounds weird, but it’s oddly mesmerizing), and they know exactly when the tide’s best for swimming versus just lounging.

What impressed me most was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about making your stay work. The front desk guy – I think his name was Somchai – remembered I was trying to avoid the tourist traps and steered me toward this incredible local seafood place about ten minutes down the road. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything you need. Air conditioning works well (crucial in Phuket humidity), decent water pressure, and the beds are actually pretty comfortable. I will say the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some rooms, but honestly, isn’t that kind of the point of a beach vacation? The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. If you’re looking for a genuine local experience without breaking the bank, and you prefer your beach time with fewer crowds and more actual relaxation, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We had a junior suit on 7th Floor . Big bright clean room with a nice bathroom and great shower . Hotel staff very friendly. Nice plunging pool on the roof . Fantastic views of the planes .

  Very close to the airport so ideal for an overnight stay before flying out early the next day. Places to eat right next door and along the street. Also a 7/11 just around the corner. Free shuttle to airport was nice and easy.
