There’s a golf course within two miles if that’s your thing, and honestly, the whole area feels more like real Thailand.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and comfortable — nothing revolutionary, but everything worked properly, which you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case. The air conditioning was strong (essential in Thai heat), and the bed was actually quite good for the price point. What I really appreciated was the open-air bath setup they have — it’s one of those little touches that makes you feel like you’re somewhere special without being over the top about it.   Lovely hotel, swimming pool and loungers tend to lose the sun around 4pm. Has a restaurant/cafe attached which is reasonably priced. NB you have to spend 500 baht to use your card which is quite difficult. There are a small selection of shops, ATMs nearby inc a 7 eleven. NB ATM will charge 400baht to withdraw money, if possible use one of the banks when exploring. Unless you have a scooter or means of transport I think anywhere including The Lake Chalong is remote for exploring. Grab is a good app to use for taxis, they work the same as Uber and you don’t need to pay cash.

  This hotel is nice location nearby the lake,
  we has booked family room with breakfast .
  The room condition everything are nice and good furniture as well , but only one thing made us lost expectation is the room smells it’s was terrible like some dried small animals or bad smelling from fungus in the wooden furnitures or room walls because they put us in the room under swimming pool area, Staff are friendly, especially a girl from the reception,she’s trying to fixing this problem for us , but not much choice for us in the night checking in , on the rest is perfect, nice food , good breakfast from the lake views ,
