I mean, when you first pull up the winding driveway through all that lush tropical greenery, there’s this moment where you’re like – okay, this might be the real deal.

The whole setup is basically private pool villas scattered across this hillside property, and each one feels like you’ve got your own little slice of paradise. I stayed in one of the larger villas and honestly, the space was ridiculous – in the best way possible. The infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea becomes your personal morning coffee spot, and trust me, you’ll find yourself taking way too many photos of that view. What I really appreciated though was how quiet everything felt, even during peak season. The villas are spaced far enough apart that you’re not hearing your neighbors splashing around or having their poolside conversations, which can be a real issue at some of these places in Phuket.

The staff here actually remembers your name and your drink preferences – not in that overly rehearsed way, but genuinely. They’ll arrange pretty much anything you need, from private boat trips to those hidden beaches only locals know about, to restaurant reservations at places that are usually booked solid. The resort restaurant is solid too, though honestly, you’re so close to some amazing local spots that it’d be a shame not to venture out. The whole Kamala area has really grown on me over the years – it’s got that perfect balance where it’s developed enough to have great dining options but not so touristy that it feels artificial. Getting around is easy enough, and the resort can arrange transportation, though I’d recommend renting a scooter if you’re comfortable with that – the coastal roads around here are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. One small thing that caught me off guard was how cool the evenings can get with those sea breezes, so definitely pack a light jacket. Overall though, this place gets the luxury villa experience right without feeling stuffy or pretentious about it.
