The Beach Boutique House Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to The Beach Boutique House, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a three-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller spots surprise you in the best way possible. This isn’t going to be your glossy resort experience with marble lobbies and infinity pools, but there’s something genuinely charming about the laid-back vibe here that actually works really well.
The rooms have this casual, lived-in feel that manages to be comfortable without trying too hard. I mean, you’re not getting thread counts that cost more than your car payment, but the bedding is clean and soft enough, and honestly, the whole setup feels more like staying at a well-kept beach house than a typical hotel. The staff – and I’m talking about maybe three or four people total – actually seem to know what’s going on around town. When I asked about decent breakfast spots that weren’t tourist traps, the guy at the front desk didn’t just hand me a generic brochure. He actually walked outside and pointed down the street, telling me which café makes their pastries fresh and which one to avoid on weekends when it gets slammed with families.
What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being this close to the action would mean dealing with noise until 2 AM, but the building itself seems to block out most of the street sounds. I slept better here than I have at some places that cost twice as much. The shower pressure is surprisingly decent too – not amazing, but definitely better than that sad trickle you sometimes get at budget spots. One thing to know though: parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak times. There’s street parking, but you might end up walking a few blocks if you roll in during busy periods. The front desk folks will tell you the best times to find a spot, which is actually pretty helpful. Is it perfect? No – the WiFi gets a bit spotty in some rooms, and don’t expect room service or a concierge desk. But for what it is, this place delivers on being a solid, unpretentious spot that feels authentic rather than manufactured. If you’re the type who’d rather spend your money on experiences instead of fancy hotel amenities you’ll barely use, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Ideally well located, The hotel is far enough from the center in order to be quite (5mn by walk) and close enough in order to be quickly in the nightlife and for the restaurants.
The beach is 15/20mn by walk and the way to reach it is very easy.
All the staff is very kind and very helpfullNarelle from Australia (7/10)
The location was good, close to restaurants, shops and kata food market. The beach was about a 10 min walk and it was stunning.
There are 2 pools on the property and the main pool was great but as mentioned in other reviews it definitely needs refurbishment as many tiles missing, but it felt clean. Beds comfortable and the aircon was amazing. Overall for a 3 star property I would recommend it.Anthony from United Kingdom (8/10)
Being in the off season, the restaurant was not running to full capacity but there was an adequate selection on offer.
