The pool area became my favorite hangout spot, honestly. It’s got this laid-back vibe where you’ll find a mix of families during the day and couples in the evening, and the staff (who actually remember your name after day two) will bring you those little frozen towels without you even asking. The rooms are what I’d call reliably comfortable – nothing fancy, but the AC works like a dream, which trust me, matters more than anything when you’re dealing with that humid Patong heat. My balcony overlooked the pool area, and while some might find it a bit noisy during afternoon splash time, I actually enjoyed watching the kids play while I had my morning coffee.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff handled the little things. When I mentioned I was trying to avoid the tourist trap restaurants, the front desk guy – I think his name was Somchai – actually drew me a little map to this local seafood place about ten minutes away where they don’t even have an English menu. And when it rained for two straight days (welcome to monsoon season), they set up these impromptu movie nights in the lobby area that felt more like hanging out at a friend’s place than being stuck in a hotel. The location works perfectly if you want options – you can walk to Bangla Road when you’re feeling adventurous, or head the other direction toward the quieter end of the beach when you need to decompress. The breakfast isn’t going to win any awards, but there’s decent Thai food mixed in with the standard Western stuff, and honestly, the fresh fruit alone makes it worth getting up for. I ended up extending my stay an extra two nights, which says something since I’m usually pretty eager to move on to the next place.

  This was my second stay at the hotel. Had rebooked at this hotel due to its location and a peaceful environment despite it being close to the crowded beach. It also has a good swimming pool and is clean. The hotel also offered excellent breakfast and varieties of foods for lunch and dinner at a reasonable price.
