There’s a decent local restaurant just down the street that does killer pad thai (the owner remembers your spice preference after the second visit), and you’ll find a 7-Eleven close enough for those late-night snack runs or forgotten sunscreen emergencies. The hotel doesn’t have a pool, which might be a dealbreaker for some, but there are several nice beaches within a reasonable ride, and honestly, the money you save here gives you more budget for activities and better meals out.   considering the low cost of the accommodation it was decent. no frills but the wifi was good. one of the beds was better than bad and the other was bad. room was not cleaned daily but you got a fresh roll of TP and 2 bottles of water everyday. No elevator.
