The rooms are clean and functional without trying to be fancy, which I actually appreciated. There’s something refreshing about a place that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t pretend otherwise. The air conditioning works properly (trust me, you’ll need it in Phuket), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for a place in this price range. I slept better there than at some supposedly upscale hotels, honestly.

The location is where this place really shines, though they don’t make a big deal about it. You’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos but still close enough to everything that matters – I could walk to decent local restaurants without getting stuck in the Patong madness, and the beaches aren’t too far by scooter or taxi. There’s this little coffee shop around the corner that the locals actually use, which tells you something about the neighborhood. Plus, parking isn’t a nightmare if you rent a bike, which I definitely recommend. The whole area has this lived-in feel rather than that sterile tourist bubble vibe you get in some parts of the island. I noticed they keep things pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect since I was doing a lot of day trips and actually wanted to sleep. Overall, it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just an expensive one – and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  The staff was lovely, the room very comfortable with TV. Wifi worked very well. The laundry service was amazing! And the breakfast was good too, with toast, eggs, coffee and banana. Location was great, just a few minutes away walking from many stores and main street in Phuket.
