Tea Tree Boutique Resort Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Tea Tree Boutique Resort? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – there’s this subtle tea tree scent that hits you in the lobby, not overpowering but just enough to feel… intentional, I guess. It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble everything, which honestly I appreciated.
The whole boutique thing isn’t just marketing speak here. We’re talking maybe 30-40 rooms max, so you’re not fighting crowds for the elevator or waiting forever at reception. The staff actually remembered my name by day two, which rarely happens anymore. The rooms have this modern-meets-cozy vibe – think clean lines but with textured throw pillows and local artwork that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog. I mean, the bathroom amenities were surprisingly good quality, and the shower pressure was spot-on (you know how hit-or-miss that can be). My only minor gripe was that the air conditioning was a bit loud at night, but nothing a white noise app couldn’t handle.
What really sold me on the place was the attention to detail without being fussy about it. The tea selection in the lobby was actually curated – loose leaf stuff, not just generic hotel tea bags. There’s this little outdoor terrace area where people were reading in the afternoons, and it felt genuinely relaxing rather than staged for Instagram. The breakfast spread was smaller than what you’d get at a big chain, but everything tasted fresh and there were local touches that made it feel authentic. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me the usual urban hotel headache. With an 8.8 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most guests, and I can see why – it’s the kind of place where small thoughtful touches add up to something that feels special without breaking the bank or trying to be something it’s not.
Phuket’s apartments offer beachside accommodations with ocean views, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Thai island paradise.

Excellent hotel – rooms are very spacious with all the amenities and a balcony. The pool is amazing (25 metres) but the area around the pool could do with upgrading to make it perfect.

I’m very happy with my choice! If you’re looking for a quiet place with direct access to a pool, this is the perfect spot. The hotel is simple, small, and slightly away from the main street, which makes it great for sleeping and relaxing. Excellent Wi-Fi, amazing and helpful staff—absolutely loved it. 10/10!

Loved the property and would recommend highly to anyone, despite being a little out of town (benefit being it’s lovely and quiet, down side being the walk along busy street with mad mopeds and cars to deal with if you head to the beach/town bars).
Nice breakfast albeit a 10/15 minute walk away (though you can arrange delivery).
Absolute best thing about this place is the wonderful, friendly and very caring owners and staff. And the best hotel cat you’ll meet.Mandy from Germany (9/10)
Really spacious room, nice and clean.
The staff made effort to solve the problem we had.Jay from Australia (9/10)
We stayed here for a week in one of the ground rooms, such a beautiful clean space, comfy bed with a pool outside the door. All the staff and owner are so lovely, it’s peaceful and relaxing. Close to shops and the main Rawai strip. Highly recommend.
