You know what caught me off guard about Tajh Pool Villas? It’s one of those places that sounds almost too perfect on paper – five-star luxury with private pools and all that – but then you actually get there and realize the photos didn’t do it justice. I mean, every villa really does have its own pool, and not those tiny plunge pools you sometimes get fooled by, but proper swimming pools where you can actually do laps if you’re into that sort of thing.

The villas themselves feel more like staying at a friend’s incredibly well-appointed vacation home than a hotel. Each one is completely private, which honestly was a relief after dealing with crowded resorts elsewhere. The staff has this way of being incredibly attentive without hovering – they’ll stock your villa with everything you need and then pretty much disappear unless you call for them. I actually forgot I was staying at a hotel property half the time. The interiors have this modern tropical vibe that doesn’t feel forced or theme-park-ish, you know? Real stone, beautiful wood details, and these massive windows that blur the line between inside and outside. The kitchens are fully equipped too, which came in handy since room service, while excellent, can get expensive if you’re staying for more than a few nights.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The water pressure is phenomenal (trust me, this matters more than you think), the air conditioning is whisper quiet, and somehow they’ve managed to design these villas so you never hear your neighbors despite being part of a larger property. The pools are cleaned every morning before you wake up, and the landscaping is so lush it feels like you’re in your own private jungle. I spent most evenings just floating in the pool with a drink, watching the sunset – honestly, it was exactly the kind of reset I didn’t know I needed. With an 8.5 rating, you’d expect solid service, but this exceeded that. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who likes being in the thick of nightlife and restaurants, you’ll probably want to plan for transportation since it’s more of a peaceful retreat setting. But if you’re looking for that perfect balance of luxury and privacy where you can truly unwind, this place delivers in spades.

  A very nice place that really accommodates my needs. The internet in the room is very fast and the place has a cafe with air conditioner on during the day and free wifi which is a plus. For those of you who need a quiet, peaceful place to hide yourself in, this place is for you.

  Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We were a group of six families (19 people), and the hotel accommodated all our requests seamlessly. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the Thai food was exceptional. The chai with Gulab Jamun was a delightful surprise that everyone loved!

  Very spacious room with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Very supportive staff willing to help for any need. Laundry facilities at disposal of the guest at a very cheap price

  The staff were all fantastic, but I would not recommend this hotel to travelers from out of town staying in Phuket for a few days. We had difficulties getting taxis, which is no fault of the hotel, but the location was more challenging to stay at than we anticipated. It would be great for a long-term stay or if you have a motorcycle, but relying on taxis was tough. The restaurant was so tasty, everything was absolutely fabulous, so all in all, it was a great stay, but I should have done more research about the area in advance.

  Loved the freidnly staff and the peaceful vibe of the Hotel. The location is peaceful and quiet but you need a Scooter to travel around which the hotel has on site. The staff are verty friendly and understanding of requirements.
