This four-star spot sits right on one of those stretches of sand where you can actually hear the waves from your room, which is honestly half the battle when you’re looking for a proper beach escape.

The resort has this laid-back vibe that grows on you – I mean, it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the coast, but there’s something refreshing about that approach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though I’d recommend asking for one facing the water if you can swing it. The difference in views is pretty dramatic, and you know what, the sound of the ocean at night is worth the extra cost. The pool area gets busy around mid-morning when families start filtering down, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself with your coffee. Speaking of which, the breakfast spread is actually decent – they do a proper Thai section alongside the usual international stuff, and the fresh fruit alone makes it worth getting up for.

What I really appreciate about this place is how the staff genuinely seems to care without being overly formal about it. Check-in was smooth, they helped sort out a minor issue with the air conditioning without any fuss, and the front desk folks actually know the area well enough to give you real recommendations instead of just handing you a brochure. The beach out front isn’t the most pristine you’ll find – there’s some seaweed that washes up during certain times of the year – but it’s wide enough that you’re not fighting for space, and the water’s clean for swimming. I’d say the whole experience sits comfortably in that sweet spot where you get good value without any major disappointments, though don’t expect to be blown away either. For a solid beach getaway where you can actually relax without breaking the bank, it does exactly what it promises to do.

  The Pool is Lovely.. the water is just the perfect temperature to cool down after a hot day. Swim up Bar is a great feature too. Free Van Shuttle into Phuket is great 👍🏻
