The housekeeping is solid too – they don’t just change the towels and call it a day, they actually pay attention to details like restocking the coffee packets and making sure the remote control batteries work. One thing to note though, the walls aren’t exactly soundproof, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs just in case you get neighbors who like late-night TV.

What really sets this place apart is how it operates more like a neighborhood spot than a tourist trap. The front desk folks know the area inside and out – they’ll tell you which local restaurants are worth your time versus the ones that just look good online, and they’re genuinely helpful about transportation options without trying to upsell you on expensive tours. I stayed there during what seemed like a busy period, and even then, the service never felt rushed or impersonal. The common areas stay clean throughout the day, and there’s this relaxed atmosphere where you can actually sit in the lobby and plan your day without feeling like you’re in the way. For the price point, you’re getting honest value – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s not going to disappoint you either, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to enjoy a trip without worrying about your accommodation.
