You know what surprised me most about Siralanna Hotel? The lobby actually smells like fresh jasmine instead of that generic hotel air freshener most places use. I mean, it’s a three-star property so I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about walking in and immediately feeling like someone cares about the details.

The rooms are honestly pretty solid for what you’re paying – nothing spectacular, but the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been sleeping on concrete. The bathroom situation is what you’d expect, though I appreciated that the shower had decent water pressure (you never know with older buildings). What really won me over was the staff, especially this one guy at reception who seemed to know exactly which local restaurants would be quiet on a Tuesday night versus completely packed. He steered me away from a tourist trap I was about to walk into and pointed me toward this little place around the corner that ended up being perfect.

I’ll be honest – the Siralanna isn’t going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy design. But sometimes you just want a place that feels genuine, where the people working there actually seem to enjoy helping guests figure out their day. The location works well if you don’t mind a short walk to get to the main action, and honestly, I kind of liked having that buffer zone. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. For a mid-range option with a 7.9 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not – and there’s something refreshing about that kind of honesty in hospitality.

  The location was good. Maybe a little bit far from the center but when you leave the hotel you can reach out 7/11 on the corner and the washer across the street.
  It's a little bit inside from the main street so the place is quieter.
  The hotel has a good ambiance and the room was clean.
