They pointed me toward this little seafood place that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook but had some of the best tom yum I’ve had on the island. The pool area gets busy around mid-afternoon – that’s when all the families with kids show up – but mornings and evenings are perfect for actually swimming laps or just floating around with a drink. I also noticed they keep the pool temperature just right, not too warm like some places that feel more like a bath.
