You know what caught me off guard about Secret Place? The name actually makes sense once you’re there. I mean, this three-star spot really does feel like stumbling onto something most people walk right past – and honestly, that’s part of its charm.

The first thing you notice walking in is how the lobby manages to feel both intimate and welcoming without trying too hard. There’s this lived-in quality to the place that I really appreciated – not fancy enough to make you worry about your travel clothes, but clean and thoughtful in ways that matter. The staff genuinely seemed to remember guests’ names, which is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth, no unnecessary upselling or lengthy explanations about amenities you’ll never use.

What really won me over was the attention to small details that actually improve your stay. The rooms have proper reading lights (finally!), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for a mid-range place. The bathrooms aren’t huge, but they’re well-designed – good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and hooks where you actually need them. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the sound insulation was solid enough that I slept well. The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the building, which honestly puts it ahead of some pricier places I’ve stayed.

One thing that struck me was how this place seems to attract interesting travelers – not necessarily the Instagram crowd, but people who prioritize substance over flash. You’ll find yourself having actual conversations in the common areas. The location gives you easy access to explore without being right in the thick of tourist chaos, which I found refreshing. Parking was straightforward when I needed it, and the surrounding area felt safe for evening walks. With that 8.8 rating, you can tell other guests appreciate the same things I did – it’s the kind of place that does the fundamentals really well without any pretense about being something it’s not.

  The location. Even though low tides pull the water very far away, high tides are just Love. The calm and quiet makes this place a heaven.

  We had a wonderful stay at this place! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were excellent – the kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is pleasantly quiet, making it perfect for relaxing, yet very convenient: there’s a 7-Eleven nearby, so you can easily grab anything you need. We felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

  the place is little known, and this is its advantage, there are practically no people on the beach, we had a good rest here, our apartment is on the beach, so quiet and calm, the apartment is excellent, have everything you need, but you need your own transport to move around comfortably, there are only 7 /11 not far, but it’s with a bike ok, have parking, I recommend this place

  Sehr ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser. Die Vermieterin war überaus freundlich, ermöglichte einen viel späteren Checkout, weil unser Weiterflug erst abends ging, beriet uns in allem (Moped, Mietwagen, ärztliche Hilfe…)
  Das Bungalow ist hübsch und gut ausgestattet (Topf, Pfanne, Pflegeprodukte, Reinigungsprodukte…)
