You know what caught me off guard about Sea Sand See Sky Beach Front Resort? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re standing on their beachfront deck with a morning coffee in hand. I mean, you literally see all four elements right there – the sand stretching out below, the endless sky above, and that gorgeous turquoise water that changes color depending on the time of day.

This three-star spot doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which honestly I found refreshing after staying at some overly fancy places that charge you extra just to breathe their air. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the oceanfront ones have these sliding doors that you can keep open all night to fall asleep to the sound of waves. Fair warning though, if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs because the ocean doesn’t really have an off switch (though most people find it soothing after the first night). The bathroom fixtures are a bit dated, sure, but everything works and the water pressure is actually pretty decent for a beachfront property.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about making your stay work. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – remembered my coffee order by day three and would have it ready when I came down for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it’s nothing elaborate but they do this local fish dish on weekends that’s absolutely worth trying. The pool area gets pretty busy around midday, especially during peak season, but if you head down early morning or late afternoon, you’ll practically have it to yourself. I actually preferred the beach chairs anyway – they’re positioned perfectly to catch the sunset, and there’s usually a nice breeze that keeps things comfortable even when it gets hot. The whole property has this laid-back vibe where you can show up to dinner in flip-flops and no one bats an eye, which is exactly what I needed after months of stuffy business hotels.
