You’re close enough to walk to everything – the beach is maybe a seven-minute stroll, Jungceylon shopping center is right there when you need essentials or air conditioning, and you can easily stumble back from Bangla Road without needing a tuk-tuk. But you’re also far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without bass lines thumping through your walls until 3 AM. The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the air conditioning works properly (crucial in that humidity), hot water is reliable, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than you’d expect for the price point. I’ve stayed in supposedly higher-end places in Patong that had worse mattresses. The only real downside is that parking can be a bit tight if you’re renting a scooter, and like most places in this area, the walls aren’t exactly soundproof – but compared to other options in central Patong, it’s actually pretty reasonable. For what you pay and where you are, Sawasdee Apartment really delivers on being a solid base for exploring Phuket without breaking the bank or dealing with the usual budget accommodation headaches.

  The property is literally 100m from the beach and a 5minute walk from Bangla road which is a huge attraction when in Phuket. This is a family run apartment that caters to all. Even more, I was sick when I first came due to food poisoning from eating street food in Phi Phi Island, the lady went above and beyond to ensure I was taken cared for an even gave suggestions for stuff I should take.

  Location is excellent. Its on the beach road, but set back about 100 meters, so none of the noise, but all the benefits of being close to the beach. Several good restaurants almost on your front door. Sweet was a favorite. Property is family run and are super nice people. Have stayed here before and will use it again next time in Phuket. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, with a balcony. Non balcony rooms have a nice sitting area instead.
