Here’s the thing about being five minutes from Kamala Beach — you get the best of both worlds. You’re close enough to hit the sand whenever the mood strikes (and trust me, Kamala’s one of the quieter, more authentic beaches on this side of Phuket), but far enough up the hill to escape the tourist chaos. The drive down is actually pretty scenic, winding through local neighborhoods where you’ll see how people really live here. I ended up on a snorkeling trip to some spots I’d never heard of, and honestly, it was way better than the crowded tours leaving from Patong. The villa itself has everything you need to just stay put too — that pool gets plenty of use, especially during the afternoon heat.

  Modern and beautifully equipped villas in a quiet location, yet close to the beach. They are a bit pricey but definitely one of the best options in Kamala. Communication with the staff was very good. All equipment is new, in a good taste and clean. Garden surrounded with beautiful plants.
