It’s one of those places where you actually feel like you’re staying at someone’s really nice house rather than just another rental property. The villa sits tucked away in this quiet residential area above Kamala – honestly, the GPS might give you a bit of trouble finding it the first time, but once you’re there, you’ll appreciate how peaceful it feels compared to the busier beachfront spots.

The private pool is the real star here, and I mean that literally – it’s perfectly positioned so you can float around in the evening watching the sunset paint the sky over the Andaman Sea. The four-star rating feels about right; it’s got all the essentials done really well without trying to be overly fancy. The two bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over each other, and the kitchen is actually functional (I’ve stayed in too many places where the kitchen is just for show). What I really appreciated was how they’ve thought about the little things – decent water pressure in both bathrooms, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and WiFi that actually works when you need to upload those pool photos.

That five-minute drive to Kamala Beach is no joke, though you’ll want to rent a scooter or have the villa arrange transport because it’s a proper hill. But honestly, this location is brilliant if you want easy access to the beach without dealing with the constant noise and foot traffic. Kamala itself has this nice middle-ground vibe – not as crazy as Patong but way more happening than some of the sleepier northern beaches. The full service aspect means they’re pretty responsive when you need something, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’d definitely come back, especially during the shoulder season when you can really make the most of that pool without the peak season crowds everywhere else.

  Modern and beautifully equipped villas in a quiet location, yet close to the beach. They are a bit pricey but definitely one of the best options in Kamala. Communication with the staff was very good. All equipment is new, in a good taste and clean. Garden surrounded with beautiful plants.
