What really sold me on this hotel was discovering it sits right along Chao Fah West Road, which honestly is one of the better locations if you want to experience Phuket without being stuck in the complete chaos of Patong. You’re close enough to everything that matters – I could grab a tuk-tuk to the beaches in about fifteen minutes, but far enough away that you actually get some peace at night. The staff here genuinely seems to care, and I mean that – they remember your name after day two, which is rarer than you’d think at larger properties. The rooms are spacious (finally, somewhere in Thailand where I’m not bumping into furniture), and the beds are actually comfortable. I’m picky about mattresses, and these hit that sweet spot between firm and soft.

The pool area deserves its own mention because it’s where I spent most of my mornings with coffee – there’s this relaxed vibe where you’ll see families with kids splashing around while couples read books in the shade. No aggressive pool games or loud music competing with each other. The restaurant surprised me too; their tom kha gai was legitimately good, not the watered-down version you sometimes get at hotel restaurants. Parking was never an issue, which matters more than people realize when you’re trying to explore the island by rental car. Sure, the fitness center could use some newer equipment, and the Wi-Fi gets a bit sluggish during peak hours, but these feel like minor complaints when everything else works so well. If you’re looking for that balance between comfort and authenticity – where you feel like you’re actually in Thailand but don’t have to sacrifice modern conveniences – this place nails it.
