The rooms are actually spacious, which is rare around here, and the beds are properly comfortable. I stayed on the fifth floor and barely heard the street noise, though I’d probably avoid the lower floors if you’re a light sleeper – Patong doesn’t really do “quiet” until about 3 AM.

The staff here genuinely seem to care, which sounds like typical hotel review nonsense, but I noticed little things like remembering my name after the first day and actually giving useful directions instead of just pointing vaguely toward the beach. The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s not huge, but it’s got this nice deck setup where you can actually relax during the day before the evening madness begins. Fair warning: it gets busy around 2 PM when everyone’s recovering from their morning adventures, but early morning swims are absolutely perfect. The breakfast is solid too (proper coffee, thank god), though don’t expect anything too fancy – it’s the kind of spread that’ll fuel you up for a day of temple-hopping or beach lounging without weighing you down. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who thinks they’ve got the balance right between location and comfort. If you’re planning to stay in Patong and want somewhere that feels like a proper retreat from the beautiful chaos outside, this is honestly one of the better choices you’ll find.

  Staff are very frendly,rooms are very clean,breakfast is adorable,it is about 15 minutes walk to Bangla road and city centre,you can find everything around to hotel 7 eleven etc,also it is easy to motorbike rent,there is company opposite to hotel also they was very hellpfull and friendly,plus our flıght was 11 pm but check out time was 12 hotel staff let to leave our belongings at the hotel and the return they sort it out a place for us to take a shower….

  Very nice location, super convenient. The hotel itself is next to a very nice restaurant =, which is very cheap but also very tasty. The hotel is also very clean and the interior is amazing. They clean the rooms every day. The breakfast buffet was also really nice. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

  Rak Elegant Hotel is a nice and modern hotel in Ao Nang area of Phuket. The room was very clean, quiet, with big and comfortable beds.
  The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
  The are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.
